Job Opportunity: RN - Behavioral Health

Location: Tucson, Arizona

Position Details

  • Specialty: Psychiatric Nursing (Psych)
  • Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Number of Openings: 1
  • Call Requirements: No call
  • Float Requirements: Able to float between patient floor and admissions department

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Arizona
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be American Heart Association)
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention/Hostile Work Environment Certification (CPI/HWC)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing (higher value between 1 and 2 years)
  • ADN degree required
  • Ability to pass background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
  • De-escalation skills
  • Team player, flexible, able to work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Level 1 psychiatric care

  • Behavioral Health Unit care

Contract Length
