Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Position
Location: St. Joseph, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview

- Weekend Hours: Approximately 1 weekend per month

- Float Requirements: May float to other units within the hospital if census drops

- Unit: 3N Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)
- Number of Beds: 18
- Trauma Level: Level 2 trauma hospital
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, joint replacement, orthopedic conditions, neurological conditions
- Patient Ratios: Nursing 5:1
- Equipment: Standard physical therapy equipment
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Epic
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- Completion of hospital-required trainings
Dress Code
- Solid color scrubs (matching top and bottom) or black bottoms with any solid color top
- Closed-toe shoes required
- No outside branded t-shirts allowed
Additional Notes
- This role requires flexibility to float to other units if needed
- The position emphasizes working with adult and geriatric patients in a rehabilitation setting
- No call or overnight shifts required
