Physical Therapist Travel Job – North Carolina
Location: Bryson City, NC
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Requires experience with pelvic and pediatric patients.
- Facility is a 48-bed critical access hospital serving western North Carolina counties.
- Provides a range of services including primary and inpatient care, emergency, laboratory, imaging, rehabilitation, and specialty outpatient services.
- Patient care includes outpatient, acute, and short-term rehab settings with a 1:1 patient ratio.
- Weekend hours and float requirements depend on the position and will be discussed during the interview.
- No call requirements.
- Electronic Health Records used: outpatient Redoc, Paragon for acute and rehab.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience in Acute Care and Outpatient settings
- Pelvic Physical Therapy experience
- Pediatric Physical Therapy experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in orthopedic and neurological therapy.
Additional Information
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel.
- Orientation sessions are scheduled throughout the year.
- Location offers outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, and tubing in the Great Smoky Mountains area.
No prior travel experience explicitly required.
