This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

07:00 AM - 07:00 PM with on-call requirements for the STEMI team rotation, averaging 6-8 shifts per month which includes a full weekend (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM).

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will work in both the procedural and prep-recovery areas for cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and vascular studies. The nurse will be responsible for the work-up and recovery of cath lab patients in the prep-recovery area, as well as performing RN circulating duties for both cardiac cath and vascular cases.

Responsibilities

Prepare and recover patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
Perform RN circulating duties for cardiac cath and vascular cases.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the procedure process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current New York State RN license.
Certification in BLS and ACLS.
Minimum of procedural cardiac cath lab experience required.
Emergency STEMI team on-call experience preferred.
