Nursing Position - Step Down and Med Surg

Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description

We are seeking experienced nursing professionals to join our team in a step down and med surg unit. The ideal candidates will have a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions
Provide care for patients with trachs, stable vented patients, and those requiring chest tube management
Administer medications and monitor vital signs
Conduct wound dressing changes and trach care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
Experience working with trachs is mandatory
ACLS and BLS certification required
Previous experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
