Job Description

Join our HVTI-Stepdown Float Pool unit as a Registered Nurse. This role requires working three 12-hour shifts (both nights and days) with a focus on providing quality care to patients in a step-down unit environment. Flexibility in shift rotation may be necessary to meet the operational needs of the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a step-down setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST HAVE 18 months of permanent experience in a step-down specialty prior to travel.
• MUST HAVE 18 months of recent cardiac step-down or PCU/progressive care experience.
• MUST HAVE an active Ohio license or a compact state license in hand.
• AHA BLS & ACLS, NIH certification required.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation required.
