Job Description

The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) will assist with invasive cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab. Responsibilities include preparing the procedure room and sterile field, anticipating needed equipment, and operating instruments while maintaining sterility.

Responsibilities

Prepare the procedure room and setup sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment.
Anticipate equipment requirements during procedures.
Function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor.
Maintain organization and sterility throughout procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT (preferred ARRT).
Current BLS (AHA) certification.
Current ACLS certification.
COVID vaccine card showing completed COVID series.
Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, and various other cardiovascular procedures.
