Schedule

Shifts available: 3x12 hour shifts (7am - 5:30pm or 7am - 7:30am); Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, Charge per Unit as needed.

Job Description

The Cath Lab provides both inpatient and outpatient procedural services focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. Our facility features four Cath labs and three EP labs that care for adult and pediatric patients with various cardiac conditions.

Our practice model is supported by a highly skilled RN staff collaborating with cardiovascular technologists to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac interventions, including right and left heart hemodynamics, CTO, PCI, and vascular interventions.
• Administer moderate sedation as required; monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide pre- and post-procedure care.
• Manage mechanical circulatory support devices such as ECMO, Impella, and LVADs.
• Assist in structural heart procedures like TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• Moderate sedation trained
• Dysrhythmia and telemetry competencies
• New York RN license
• Experience with specific procedures: TAVR, Microclip, Watchmen, PCI, and Vascular Interventions.
• Mechanical circulatory support experience with ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD.
• Critical care or cardiac experience is required.
