Critical Care Registered Nurse - High Acuity

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts available from 7 PM to 7:30 AM or 7 AM to 7:30 PM with a 60-minute unpaid lunch break.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse specializing in high acuity cases. The ideal candidate will provide 1:1 or 1:2 nursing care in a fast-paced critical care environment, effectively managing complex heart cases and STEMIs.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
Monitor vital signs and maintain patient records accurately.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Float to other ICUs, telemetry, and medicine units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in critical care.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
