Schedule
This position requires a 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 60-minute lunch. Weekends and holiday coverage are required based on unit needs, with a schedule that includes every other weekend.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse with expertise in trauma and neuro patients. The candidate will have experience managing various drips, including sedation, pressors, and CVVHD. There may be a requirement to float to other units such as PCSU, CTICU, MICU, and CICU based on the unit's needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to trauma and neuro patients in the ICU setting.
- Manage and monitor various intravenous drips, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to different units as needed while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.
- Current state nursing license.
- Certifications required: ACLS, ONC, and PALS.
