Day shift, 4x10 hours (11:00 AM - 9:00 PM); every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The CT Tech will be responsible for performing computed tomography imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The position involves working in a variety of adult care settings, including acute care and outpatient environments. Candidates should expect to work with GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of various body parts including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, and neck with and without contrast.
• Administer contrast media and prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Start peripheral IVs as required.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during the imaging process, following isolation precautions.
• Ensure imaging quality and proper documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to fulfill patient care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech.
• Current ARRT certification in CT and BLS required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Familiarity with age-specific competency across all patient age groups.
