Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse - 3x12 Day/Night Shifts

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts: 3x12 hours. Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Shifts may vary to meet the operational needs of the hospital.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient management.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive assessments and individualized care to patients.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient progress and document changes in health status.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on health management and treatments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience.
Active Ohio RN license or compact state license.
AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be conducted during orientation.
