This position requires 4x10 hour shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The technologist will be off on weekends but will participate in weekend call every 4th weekend and minimal call during the week.

Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Radiologist, the CT Technologist will perform CT procedures to acquire digital images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. This role involves planning and executing all CT procedures with a focus on patient care and safety, using advanced technology based on clinical criteria.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise to operate CT Scanners and power injectors for imaging.
Ensure protocols are compliant with ImageGently Guidelines and patient dose monitoring.
Maintain knowledge of clinical histories and protocols related to various organ systems.
Obtain and process CT images using established protocols while ensuring patient safety.
Perform CT Interventional Procedures and Advanced CTA imaging studies.
Monitor pharmacology knowledge to ensure safe exam procedures.
Maintain a working knowledge of physics to optimize image quality and reduce patient dose.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Two years of experience in CT technology and a graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology are required.
