FLOAT RN - MS/Tele - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
Weekend, holiday, and call required

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled FLOAT Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing to provide quality patient care across multiple units including Medical-Surgical, PCU, and acute inpatient rehab.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality nursing care to patients with various medical diagnoses, including septic conditions, COPD, CHF, post-operative cases, and others.
Float between multiple units: MS 4 Pav, MS 5 Pratt, PCU, and acute inpatient rehabilitation for orthopedic and neurological patients.
Manage patient ratios of 1:5-6.
Perform patient assessments and coordinate care effectively under stressful conditions.
Provide education to patients and their families regarding clinical care and safety.
Assume charge nurse duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current New York RN license.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Experience with Meditech is mandatory.
Minimum of one successful travel nursing assignment completed.
PCU experience highly preferred.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
