Days 12 (7:00 AM - 8:00 PM) - 3 days a week; call twice a week; every other weekend.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will produce MRI images of designated anatomical areas as ordered by a licensed physician or practitioner, according to established practices and procedures. The core competencies will be assessed primarily on the following patient populations: cardiac/cardiovascular, mammary, GI, endocrine, renal, and skeletal conditions and diseases including but not limited to CAD, PVD, CVA/TIA, COPD, CHF, and Oncology.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality MRI images as per orders from licensed practitioners.
Maintain knowledge of examination sequencing and preparations appropriate to the patient’s age group.
Ensure compliance with established practices and safety procedures in MRI imaging.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
ARRT certification required.
BLS certification required.
