This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 7 PM, with weekends as needed. Candidates must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for, and call may be required.

Job Description

The Invasive Cardiology unit features 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs and 2 dedicated Electrophysiology labs, completing over 6,000 procedures annually. The unit provides advanced cardiovascular treatments, including complex coronary procedures, ventricular assist devices, and various structural heart procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in the Invasive Cardiology unit, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and treatment.
Assist with advanced procedures including TAVR, VAD, ECMO, and cardiac ablations.
Use Epic for charting and documentation of patient care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a related field.
Current certifications in ACLS & BLS.
Proven experience with Epic charting system is required.
Ability to care for COVID patients and adhere to a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
