Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and satisfaction for all patients. This role requires a dedicated professional with strong clinical skills in telemetry monitoring and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and ECG rhythms, recognizing any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required, including travel experience.
• A valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be active.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.
