Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN must possess a solid understanding of nursing principles, theories, current methods, and techniques, and effectively employs the nursing process. Collaboration with patients, their family members, professional peers, and other healthcare team members is essential for individualizing patient care. Additionally, the RN directs nursing support staff in providing patient care according to established standards and departmental policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the care needs of assigned patients.
- Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Direct and supervise nursing support staff in performing patient care tasks.
- Maintain knowledge of current nursing practices and incorporate them into care delivery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing (Preferred).
- 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty (Preferred).
- PA Registered Nurse License (Required).
- Basic Life Support certification (Required).
- Multi-State Compact RN License (Required).
Schedule
12-hour AM shifts available.
