Rotating shifts: 7pm - 7:30am and 7am - 7:30pm, with a requirement to work every other holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Stepdown Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery or experiencing cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' health status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication management duties.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 18 months of permanent experience in Cardiac Stepdown.
• Active Ohio nursing license or Compact State license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Electrocardiogram (ECG) rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment to be completed during orientation.
