This position operates on a night shift, specifically three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

Providing high-quality nursing care within a Cardiac Unit for adult and geriatric patients. This role involves monitoring patient stability and administering medications and treatments as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a telemetry setting and be capable of interpreting dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Manage the care of patients with cardiac conditions, including the use of rapid response teams.
• Perform peripheral line care and management.
• Administer oxygen and manage non-invasive airway techniques.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must have NY RN license in hand for submission.
