Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Rotating shifts will be required as needed per operational needs.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. The nurse will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Candidates must demonstrate clinical competency, provide patient education, and maintain effective communication with families and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient progress and conditions
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health maintenance
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
• Provide support and guidance to nursing assistants and other staff

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing prior to travel assignments
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience; travel experience may qualify
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday
