Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:15), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU/SICU Registered Nurse with strong critical care skills to provide direct patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro and surgical intensive care, ensuring high-quality support for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients with acute renal failure, GI surgeries, CVAs, TBIs, and ventilated patients.
• Administer treatments and medications per established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust care plans based on analysis of data.
• Utilize advanced equipment, including Pulmonary Artery Lines, Swan Ganz monitoring, and CVVHD/CRRT.
• Document patient care in EPIC to maintain accurate medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1.5+ years of acute care experience, particularly in Neuro ICU/SICU.
• Active NJ or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Strong skills in EKG interpretation, IV management, and advanced monitoring techniques.
• Experience with IABP, Impella, LVAD, and other critical care technologies is preferred.
