Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) with telemetry experience. The selected candidate will provide general medical administration of medication and care, along with remote telemetry monitoring. The role involves caring for postoperative patients and may require floating to Medical Surgical Telemetry as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting.
• Monitor patient telemetry data and respond to alerts as needed.
• Participate in the treatment and care of postoperative surgical, bariatric, and oncology patients.
• Assist with patient assessments and provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ year of recent travel experience as a Med Surg RN is required.
• Telemetry experience is mandatory.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.

Patient Ratio

The nurse-patient ratio is 1:6, with a maximum surge plan of 1:7.
