Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join the Stepdown Unit at a leading hospital. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, managing complex medical needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown Unit.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, documenting progress and interventions.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
• Administer medications and implement prescribed treatments timely and accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent nursing experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit.
• Current Ohio nursing license or a compact state license required.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification necessary.
• Prior travel experience in a hospital setting preferred but not required.
