Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a Medical Surgical Unit, focusing on a variety of diagnoses, including the care of COVID patients. Candidates should be prepared to pass an EKG exam on their first attempt. Travel nurses are welcomed, including first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care and assessment.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Manage IVs, chest tubes, and essential patient support systems.
Handle telemetry and monitor dysrhythmias as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry nursing role.
Current BLS certification required; NIHSS preferred.
EPIC experience is mandatory.
No license hits are accepted; candidates must hold a valid RN license.
COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with exemptions allowed.
