Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Night shift from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients, establishing ventilator settings, and managing life-threatening situations utilizing advanced principles of respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities

Establish patient ventilator settings using metric measurements.
Utilize advanced principles of volume, flow, pressure, and time relationships in patient care.
Monitor and respond to life-threatening situations effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care.
New York State license required.
CRT Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
RRT Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and PALS preferred.
Knowledge of acid/base/electrolyte relationships and implications of life-threatening situations.
