Schedule / Shift

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) rotating shifts. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in stepdown or progressive care nursing and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support for stepdown unit patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty prior to travel.
• At least 18 months of recent Stepdown experience; travel experience is accepted.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
