Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Cardiac care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in step-down or ICU settings, providing care for cardiac observation, post-cardiac catheterization lab patients, and performing cardioversions. You will be responsible for overseeing a small patient population in a progressive care setting, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' condition in a telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a Cardiac or Critical Care setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Must have an Associate Degree in Nursing (AND minimum).
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs.
