Schedule

3 x 12 hour shifts primarily days with some late nights, holidays, and on-call duties. No weekends required at this time.

Job Description

The Electrophysiology RN will perform diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and interventions, including electrocardiograms, within a clinical setting. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, ensuring all equipment is functional, monitoring recordings during procedures, and assisting with data analysis and interpretation. The RN will also assist physicians with pacing implementation and installation of permanent cardiac devices.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with physicians and in-room staff regarding equipment and supplies.
• Facilitate room turnover and timely starts for procedures.
• Assist with preparing patients and equipment at the sterile field as a circulator.
• Maintain fluids for ablation catheters and assist with ablator during procedures.
• Document procedures using Epic and provide assistance to Anesthesia.
• Remain patient-focused throughout the transition of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse license in New York (NY License ONLY).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association ONLY.
