Nights: 12-hour shifts - 7pm to 7am

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Medical Step-Down Unit will provide care for patients who meet the criteria for Medical Step-Down level of care. The role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a team-oriented approach to healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

Assessing and monitoring patient conditions in the Medical Step-Down Unit.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Documenting patient care and progress appropriately.
Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Providing education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
