This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position involves rotating shifts of 3x12 hours, either Day (07:00 - 19:30) or Night (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care to patients with medical and surgical needs. This role requires expertise in telemetry and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to individuals with varying medical and surgical diagnoses.
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and responding to changes in patient status.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document clinical information accurately and timely.
Participate in patient and family education regarding health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
Must possess an active Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
Previous permanent experience in the specialty applying for is mandatory.
