Cath Lab Technician - Evenings

Location

Yonkers, NY

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8-hour evening shifts, with no weekends, holidays, or call requirements.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will provide essential support in the pre and post catheterization labs, with a focus on procedural care and critical care environments. This position requires a background in Cath Lab experience, including familiarity with EMR systems, particularly EPIC, and float responsibilities between EP pre/post care and the Cath Lab at Einstein/Weiler.

Responsibilities

Assist in cath lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Provide pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing catheterization.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Cath Lab environment.
Comply with all safety protocols and procedures within the lab setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
NY State nursing license required.
