Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality medical and surgical care to patients with a focus on telemetry monitoring. This position requires a commitment to data-driven patient care and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions utilizing telemetry and oximetry.
• Provide interventions and care tailored to a diverse patient population, including young adults and geriatric patients.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous lines and blood products.
• Participate in rapid response and code teams, demonstrating critical decision-making skills.
• Conduct pre/post hemodialysis management and manage feeding tubes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical surgical telemetry environment.
• Certifications required: BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic.
• Ability to manage patient ratios up to 1:6.
• Travel experience is required.
