Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to work at a hospital emergency department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of acute hospital experience and must be familiar with various specialties including ICU, MS, PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, and OBS. Previous charge experience is required, alongside a strong understanding of case management and utilization review.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and execute discharge planning.
• Coordinate care and manage patient needs effectively.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with CMS and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience required.
• Previous charge experience is mandatory.
• BLS certification required.
• Must pass a mandatory EKG exam as part of compliance.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a must.
• Travel experience is required, and local candidates will not be accepted.
