Schedule

Shifts include preference for 36 HPW; 4x10 or 3x12 hours (7 am - 5:30 pm; 7 am - 7:30 pm), including weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge per unit needs.

Job Description

The Cath Lab focuses on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. This facility includes 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs, caring for both adult and pediatric patients with a variety of conditions. The team consists of experienced RN staff collaborating with CVTs to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care in both inpatient and outpatient procedural settings.
• Engage in pre and post-procedural care, ensuring comprehensive support for patient needs.
• Collaborate with a specialized team to optimize patient outcomes in complex cardiac interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA certified).
• Moderate sedation training and telemetry experience.
• RN License (New York State only).
• Experience with TAVR, Microclip, Watchmen, Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, and more.
• Mechanical Circulatory Support experience (ECMO, Impella, IABP, etc.).
• Critical care or cardiac experience is required.
