Job Description

The CT/X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for conducting imaging procedures for both adult and pediatric patients. The technologist must demonstrate proficiency in operating radiological equipment, including GE and Siemens systems, and be capable of performing both X-ray and CT examinations. The job may involve floating to other facilities within the organization when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging on outpatient and emergency department patients.
• Start IVs and prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring proper patient care and comfort.
• Utilize PACS and portable imaging systems effectively.
• Conduct various X-Ray procedures, including extremities, abdomen/GI, and spine/pelvis imaging.
• Multiplanar reconstruction and advanced CT examinations (e.g., CTAs, brain perfusion).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and X-Ray technology.
• Must possess ARRT certification in CT and R.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in EPIC charting system and previous outpatient and emergency department roles.
• Familiarity with Samsung X-Ray systems is preferred, along with experience in working with infants and pediatric patients.
