Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population across all age groups. This role requires proficiency in telemetry monitoring and general medical-surgical nursing practices.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
- Monitor patients using telemetry equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN licensure in Tennessee.
- ACLS, BLS, HWC, and NIH certifications required prior to start.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical telemetry nursing.
- IV insertion skills are essential.
