Registered Respiratory Therapist - Day 3x12-Hour Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in adult critical care and have a strong background in various respiratory therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to critically ill patients.
Perform intubation and extubation as needed.
Manage tracheostomy care and high flow nasal cannula therapy.
Conduct sputum specimen collection and comprehensive patient assessments.
Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Troubleshoot mechanical ventilation and weaning protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active BLS certification.
2+ years of recent experience in respiratory therapy.
Experience with Allscripts charting system preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza, with exemptions allowed.
