Short Description: D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule on call/callback, floating, holidays and weekends per unit needs.

Job Description

The OR cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center). The facility utilizes 2 Davinci robots across multiple services, and the transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Responsibilities

Able to scrub and circulate during surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN License (New York State ONLY)
• Two (2) years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS Certification (PREFERRED)
• Strong background in orthopedic surgeries
• Experience with specialty cases (transplants, plastics, reconstructive, craniotomy) is highly desired
