This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Primarily Days with some late night (evenings) and on call/call as per unit needs. 10-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) will assist with invasive cardiac procedures by preparing the procedure room and sterile field, setting up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. The CVT will function in multiple roles within the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor. Strong organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and supplies.
Anticipate equipment required during procedures and operate the equipment.
Participate effectively in multiple roles within the procedure team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT (preferred ARRT).
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Mechanical circulatory support experience: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo.
Structural heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty.
Critical care or cardiac experience required.
COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series.
