Assignment Duration

This is a contract position for a duration of 8 to 12 weeks.

Schedule

Day shift with a 4x12 hour schedule from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM; weekend coverage as needed.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) will provide respiratory care and support to patients, ensuring quality patient outcomes and adherence to the highest standards of practice. The therapist may float between facilities as required and must work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures according to established protocols.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy and modify treatments accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory management and therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a respiratory therapist.
• Active NBRC certification and BLS certification required at the time of submission.
• Ohio RRT license in hand.
• References from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required.
