Night shift from 9 PM to 7 AM, Wednesday through Saturday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform imaging procedures on both adult and pediatric patients, excluding interventional radiology, which is limited to adults. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of imaging techniques and the ability to operate various imaging equipment in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures and assist with all imaging requirements for each patient.
• Maintain a radiation badge and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Coordinate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Start IVs and assist in administering contrast when necessary.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation and record-keeping.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification as a Certified CT Technologist (CT preferred).
• BLS certification must be from AHA.
• A valid West Virginia state license as a radiologic technologist.
