Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Nurse with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The successful candidate will possess the necessary skills and certifications to work in our state-of-the-art Endoscopy unit.
Responsibilities
- Assist in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and provide supportive care throughout the procedure.
- Collaborate with the medical team to maintain a sterile environment and ensure patient safety.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including patient education and addressing any concerns.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain communication with the healthcare team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- At least 2 years of in-hospital Endoscopy experience.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Experience with Olympus Scopes and associated equipment.
- Ability to handle varying patient ratios and procedural volume.
