Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated MedSurg Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires experience with Cerner EHR and includes responsibilities typical of acute care nursing, particularly in a med-surg environment. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care to adult and geriatric populations with various medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and manage patient care plans.
- Monitor patient vitals and assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote best practices.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Identify common diagnosis/treatments such as pneumonia, COPD, CHF, CVA, and cancer.
Schedule
This position requires a night shift, from 19:00 to 07:00. Weekend hours may be required based on department needs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Cerner experience is required.
- Active RN license.
- Previous med-surg experience preferred.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
