Schedule
12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holiday rotation and every other weekend requirements.
Job Description
The Complex Intervention Unit is an 18-bed adult acute care (Med-Surge) level unit that provides care for patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions. This position requires an RN to oversee a safe and therapeutic care environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet the complex needs of patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patient health and responses.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide support to patients with both medical and behavioral health needs.
- Monitor vital signs and perform necessary assessments.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of Med-Surg nursing experience required.
- Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact State RN License is required.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Epic charting system experience is required.
