CT Technologist - Weekend Mids

Schedule

Shifts are from 12:00 PM to 1:30 AM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform various imaging procedures and provide high-quality patient care in the CT department. Candidates must have experience with adult and pediatric patients, as well as competency in peripheral IV insertions. Familiarity with the Siemens 128 Definition and Siemens Force 256 imaging equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans of various body parts including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal areas.
• Perform specific procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, colonography, and myelography.
• Administer contrast media and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• ARRT (CT) certification and BLS certification are required.
• Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson charting systems.
• Ability to perform peripheral IV insertions is a must.
• Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient care.
