Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CT and X-Ray Technician to join our team for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in imaging procedures, specifically in outpatient settings, with experience in both adult and pediatric care. This role will require the technician to be flexible and willing to float to other facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.
• Start approximately 8-9 IVs per day as required.
• Assist in emergency department imaging as needed.
• Utilize PACS and portable equipment effectively.
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC charting system.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and departmental protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT and X-Ray Technician.
• ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (R).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in performing various X-Ray and CT procedures, including cardiac CT and brain perfusion.
• Proficiency with PACS systems and Siemens equipment; Samsung X-Ray experience preferred.
• Previous experience working with infants and pediatrics is preferred.

Schedule

This is a day shift position, working 3x12-hour shifts from 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM, specifically on Fridays through Sundays.
