Job Description
The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that allow for effective return to community activities.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Document medical records in a clear, concise, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Provide patient and family education, as well as supervision for students as assigned.
- Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
- Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.
- Understand and implement organizational performance improvement initiatives.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- At least 6 months of outpatient clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
