Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telemetry/Progressive Care Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry and progressive care nursing, working within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in telemetry and progressive care settings.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, telemetry readings, and overall condition, making necessary interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1-2 years of telemetry and progressive care experience.
- Current RN license to practice in Virginia.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Must pass a random drug screening and complete a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form.
- Experience with Meditech EHR is preferred.
