Respiratory Therapist Position - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift of 3x12 hours, from 18:30 to 07:00. Weekends required.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide care for adult critical care patients and support for emergency department patients. Key responsibilities include airway management, assisting in bronchoscopy, managing ventilators, and administering BiPAP and CPAP treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to critically ill patients.
• Perform airway management and ABG sampling and interpretation.
• Support in the operation and management of ventilators.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with medical teams in emergency and critical care settings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid NBRC RRT credentials.
• Licensed to practice in Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in adult critical care.
• Certifications in BLS and NRP are required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
